Russia Derways SUV Electrophoresis Coating Production Line
Derways is a Russian automobile manufacturer based in Cherkessk. Founded in 2003, it was the first privately-owned automotive company in Russia and is part of the Russian Mercury Group. To meet the growing demand of Sino-Russian automotive trade and achieve its production expansion goals, the company decided to introduce a new electrophoresis coating line. With its strong technical qualifications, AnJia Coating achieved successful cooperation with Derways.
This project marked AnJia Coating's first overseas undertaking and the starting point of its international business. Upholding the core philosophy of "Technology First, Service Foremost”, AnJia assembled a dedicated project team comprising senior engineers, Russian interpreters, and local agents. The team traveled to Cherkessk for on-site surveys and technical coordination. Overcoming challenges such as differences in industrial standards, supply chain coordination, and cross-border communication, they successfully completed the design, installation, and commissioning of the entire electrophoresis coating line on schedule.
The successful delivery of this project not only elevated the coating quality of Derways' SUV products to advanced levels, enabling the company to secure more localized production orders from Chinese automotive brands, but also opened the door to the Eastern European market for AnJia. Building on this milestone, AnJia gained deeper insights into the Eastern European market and subsequently secured multiple coating production line projects in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and other countries. Gradually, AnJia established a service network covering Eastern Europe and Central Asia, achieving a strategic transition from domestic leadership to global expansion.
