1. New automotive painting technology

For traditional automobile painting technology, it is mainly through 4C3B and 3C2B processes. With the continuous development of science and technology, automobile painting technology is constantly updated.

1.1 3C1B process. The 3C1B process is a simplification of the traditional process and eliminates some unnecessary processes. The specific process is shown in Figure 1.

The use of this process can greatly reduce the emission of volatile organic compounds and reduce painting costs.

1.2 B1: B2 process. B1: The B2 process is a bold attempt and transformation on the 3C1B process, which simplifies and integrates the process. For the automotive process, we need to further complete the 3C2B process. The entire painting, spraying and drying process, of which 3C1B is the first coating construction, requires high-temperature drying and at the same time The color of the coating is analyzed and processed. During the second spraying process, the B1 layer directly replaces the function of the middle coating and takes into account the function of the bottom layer of color paint. The B2 layer is the color paint coating. This process reduces the spraying process, thereby reducing cost consumption and unnecessary pollution.

1.3 Double primer process. The double primer process is a process of wet-on-wet electrophoretic primer and intermediate coating, which can realize the function of weather-resistant electrophoretic paint. This process reduces the operations of primer sanding and electrophoresis drying, optimizes the adhesion and appearance of the coating, and further improves the scratch resistance, stone chip resistance and corrosion resistance of the coating.

1.4 Film coating technology. The coating technology is mainly a process that uses the "insert molding" or "inner mold" process to prefabricate it. After heating, the topcoat performance and appearance of the filmed product are different from those of the traditional baking spray coating. Very similar.

2 New materials for automobile painting

2.1 Intermediate coating. Intermediate coating is an important link in the painting process. This not only requires us to have a better understanding, but also comprehensively protects the middle layer of paint. The points that are not filled must be protected, which can also effectively improve the coating. The layer is resistant to ultraviolet rays, has better UV isolation performance, and protects the electrophoretic paint layer. With the continuous innovation of science and technology, the direction of mid-coat coatings is also changing towards fixed coatings. There are also many technologies such as electrophoresis of mid-coat paint and the application of primers with mid-coat properties. 2.2 Topcoat paint. Topcoat coatings are also constantly being introduced as environmental protection changes in the volatility requirements of coatings. Traditional organic solvent-based coatings are gradually changing towards water-based coatings, high-solid coatings and powder coatings.
